Junior Software Developer
We're looking for an enthusiastic junior developer to join our team and help build cutting-edge web applications. This is a perfect opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to work with modern technologies and learn from experienced developers. Because of the junior nature of this role, we would prefer to hire locally in Clutha, New Zealand.
What you'll do:
- Develop web applications using Vue.js, Nuxt, and modern JavaScript
- Work with APIs and databases to create dynamic user experiences
- Collaborate with our team on client projects
- Learn and implement best practices in software development
- Participate in code reviews and continuous learning
What we're looking for:
- Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
- Familiarity with Vue.js or similar frameworks
- Understanding of Git version control
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
Bonus points: Experience with TypeScript, Node.js, Firebase, or mobile app development
Junior Product Manager / ClickUp Champion
We need a productivity champion to help drive efficiency and organisation at Calo. This role combines product management fundamentals with hands-on project management using ClickUp. Perfect for someone who loves organising processes and helping teams work better together. Because of the junior nature of this role, we would prefer to hire locally in Clutha, New Zealand.
What you'll do:
- Manage and optimize our ClickUp workspace and workflows
- Coordinate project timelines and deliverables across teams
- Help define product requirements and user stories
- Track project progress and identify bottlenecks
- Create and maintain documentation and processes
- Support client communication and project updates
What we're looking for:
- Strong organisational and project management skills
- Experience with ClickUp or similar project management tools
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical thinking
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams
- Basic understanding of software development processes
Bonus points: ClickUp certification, experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies, or background in tech startups
